Can you help me find the right SIMS PC(disc) game for me?
Yes I know this is in R&S. This is where I hang out and my question isn’t getting much luck in the game area. Besides I’m addicted to R&S. Help.
I have used the SIMS (4 disc) PC Collection but got bored with it’s furnishings. I saw the new Kitchens & Bath’s edition out. I don’t know how to build yet but love decorating. How are the furnishings for the living rooms and bedrooms in this game? Any advice on which to choose…….or cheat codes….haha…. is greatly appreciated!
To be honest, I only have all the expansions and Stuff packs because people use the meshes to create custom content. It’s the custom stuff that I really enjoy.
I’ve gotten a lot of stuff from vitasims2.com, modthesims2.com, thesimsresource.com…and I can get you links for a bunch of other sites, too.
The Kitchen and Bath Stuff pack DOES have really cute stuff for kitchens and bathrooms, but nothing for any other room.
Cheat codes? All you need is to type in shift+ctrl+C (in the game), and when the little screen pops up, type in “help.” All the cheat codes in the game will pop up. Just scroll up and down to find which ones you’ll need.
When I’m placing objects, my favorite cheats to use are “boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false”, “boolProp allow45DegreeAngleofRotation true” and “moveObjects on.” Without the quotes of course, and they don’t have to be capitalized.
And start building! It’s so easy! You can start with one of the houses that comes with the game, and change the walls/floors/doors/windows in it. That’ll teach you some of the important stuff. Then graduate to planning gardens, changing the layout/size of the rooms, and laying foundations. It’s really, REALLY simple…and with practice, you can get pretty good at it.
